The single most common support ticket on any crypto-funded platform is a deposit that never arrived because it was sent on the wrong network. This article exists so that it never happens to you. It takes five minutes and could save a month's profit.
One token, several rails
USDT is issued on many blockchains — Ethereum, Tron, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and others. Each version is worth exactly one dollar. But they are separate systems: a USDT token on Tron cannot be received by a BNB Smart Chain address any more than a letter posted in one country's system can be delivered by another's. Send USDT on the wrong rail and it goes to an address that exists on a network that does not know what to do with it. In most cases the funds are unrecoverable.
IDTraders supports two rails, chosen because they are cheap, fast and widely available on exchanges:

The one rule
The network you choose on the platform and the network you choose in your wallet or exchange must be the same. That is the whole rule. If the platform's deposit page says BEP-20 and shows an address starting with 0x, then in your exchange's withdrawal screen you must pick "BSC" or "BEP20" — never "TRC20", never "ERC20", never "Solana". If the platform page says TRC-20 and the address starts with T, pick "Tron" or "TRC20".
The address format is your safety check. A 0x address is a BEP-20 address; a T address is a TRC-20 address. Exchanges will usually refuse to send to an address of the wrong shape, which catches most mistakes — but not the one where the address shape is right and the network dropdown is wrong, because Ethereum's ERC-20 network also uses 0x addresses. Sending USDT on ERC-20 to a BEP-20 address is the classic loss. Check the dropdown, not just the address.
Which to choose
For most clients the answer is: whichever your exchange or wallet already supports at low cost. Both work identically once the funds arrive. If both are available:
- BEP-20 is free to withdraw from IDTraders, so it is the cheaper round trip.
- TRC-20 is the most widely supported USDT rail in Asia and the Middle East, and some local exchanges offer only that.
The platform remembers the wallet you deposit from and adds it to your withdrawal wallets automatically, so once you have used a rail successfully, withdrawing back to the same wallet on the same rail is the path of least risk.
Deposit checklist
- On the Deposit page, select the network. Note the address shape.
- Enter the amount (minimum 10 USDT) and your sending wallet address.
- Copy the deposit address with the Copy button — never retype it.
- In your exchange: choose USDT, paste the address, choose the same network, enter the exact amount.
- Check the first four and last four characters of the pasted address against the platform's.
- Send. Press "I Have Sent The Payment". Wait for confirmation; the credit is automatic.
Withdrawal checklist
- KYC must be complete.
- First time only: add your wallet under "Set Up Your Withdrawal Wallet", choose its network, verify with the email code.
- Choose the saved wallet, enter the amount (minimum 10 USDT), review the two totals — what leaves your wallet and what you receive — and submit.
Why not Ethereum?
USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) is the original and still the most widely held version, so clients sometimes ask why the platform does not accept it. The answer is cost. Fees on Ethereum are set by network congestion and have, at busy times, exceeded $20 for a single transfer — more than the minimum deposit. BEP-20 and TRC-20 carry the same token for cents. If your exchange holds your USDT on Ethereum, convert it to one of the supported rails inside the exchange (most offer this free or nearly so) before withdrawing, rather than paying Ethereum's fee and then discovering the platform cannot receive it.
If something goes wrong
If a deposit has not appeared after thirty minutes, check the transaction on the network's explorer (BscScan for BEP-20, Tronscan for TRC-20) using the transaction ID from your exchange. If the explorer shows it confirmed to the platform's address on the correct network, contact support with the ID and it will be credited. If the explorer shows it went to a different network, contact support anyway — recovery is sometimes possible, but it is slow, and it is far better to have used the checklist.
Same dollar, two rails. 0x is BEP-20; T is TRC-20. Match the network on both ends, copy the address, send the exact amount — and this article never applies to you.
