Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 April 2026. This document forms part of the agreement between you and IDTraders. It sets out what is stored on and read from your device, what is done with the data, and your choices.

1. Scope and acceptance

1.1 This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies IDTraders sets and reads when you visit this website or use the client portal or the trading terminal (together, "the platform"), what they are used for, who else may set them, how long they persist, and what choices you have. It forms part of the agreement between you and IDTraders together with the Terms of Service, the Risk Disclosure, the AML & KYC Policy and the Privacy Policy.

1.2 By continuing to use the platform after the cookie notice is shown, by pressing Accept on that notice, by logging in, or by submitting any form, you consent to the placing, reading and use of every cookie and similar technology described in this Policy, for every purpose described in it, and to the retention and use of the data they collect as described here and in the Privacy Policy. If you do not consent, do not use the platform.

1.3 "Cookie" in this Policy means any cookie, local-storage or session-storage entry, IndexedDB record, pixel, tag, beacon, script, software development kit, device identifier, browser or device fingerprint, or other technology that stores or reads information on your device or identifies your device or browser, whether set by IDTraders or by a third party on IDTraders' behalf or through the platform.

2. What cookies we set and read

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies: those required to deliver the platform, including session identifiers, authentication and two-factor tokens, CSRF and other security tokens, load-balancing and routing identifiers, fraud- and bot-detection identifiers, the record of your response to the cookie notice, and any cookie needed to keep an order, a copy, a deposit or a withdrawal consistent across a session.

2.2 Preference and functionality cookies: language, currency and display settings, dismissed notices, the last page or tab you were on, chart layouts, terminal settings, saved filters and any other choice you make that the platform remembers for you.

2.3 Analytics, performance and usage cookies: identifiers and records that tell us which pages, screens, masters, packages and features you view; what you click, scroll, hover, search, open and close; how long you spend on each page and in each session; the order in which you move through the platform; the errors and messages you receive; the forms you start and whether you complete them; and the device, browser, screen size, operating system, language, time zone, network and approximate location from which you connect.

2.4 Attribution and referral cookies: the referral code, IB code, campaign, source, medium, keyword, landing page and referring site through which you arrived, held so that the introducer who brought you to the platform is credited correctly and so that campaigns can be measured.

2.5 Support and communication cookies: identifiers set by the support chat, ticketing and messaging tools so that a conversation stays in one thread and so that we can see which pages you were on when you asked for help.

2.6 Security and integrity cookies: device and browser fingerprints, behavioural signals and risk scores used to detect account sharing, multiple accounts, automated access, unusual locations and other prohibited conduct under the Terms of Service and the AML & KYC Policy.

2.7 Third-party cookies: price feeds, charts, the economic calendar, embedded content, verification providers and messaging channels loaded within the platform may set their own cookies under their own policies. IDTraders does not control those cookies and is not responsible for them.

2.8 We set and read every category above on every visit and every session, whether or not you are logged in, and we link the resulting data to your account as soon as you log in or as soon as it can reasonably be matched to you.

3. What we do with the data

3.1 We collect, store, hold, combine, analyse and use the data gathered through cookies for every purpose set out in the Privacy Policy, including: delivering, securing and operating the platform; verifying identity and preventing fraud, abuse and prohibited conduct; crediting introducers and measuring campaigns; understanding how the platform is used and improving, developing and testing it; personalising what you see; providing support; meeting our legal and regulatory obligations; enforcing our rights; training, testing and improving automated systems, statistical models and artificial-intelligence models used by IDTraders or its providers; marketing and promotion, including building audiences and measuring campaigns with our providers; and research, analysis, product development, business planning and reporting.

3.2 Data gathered through cookies may be combined with the account, verification, transaction, communication and other data we hold about you, with data received from third parties, and with data from your other devices and sessions, so that we hold a single record of your relationship with the platform.

3.3 We hold this data for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy: for the life of your account and for not less than five years after it is closed where the data is linked to an account, for 24 months from collection where it relates to a visitor who never opened an account, and for longer where a dispute, investigation, claim or legal obligation applies. Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you may be held indefinitely.

3.4 We do not sell the data gathered through cookies and we do not hand it to advertising networks for their own use. We share it with our service providers, with the referring IB to the limited extent described in the Privacy Policy, with regulators and authorities where required, and with a successor or licensed entity as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Lifetime of cookies

4.1 Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them; expiry ranges from a few hours for security tokens to 24 months for analytics and attribution identifiers, and up to 12 months for your response to the cookie notice. A cookie's expiry limits how long it stays on your device, not how long we keep the data it collected, which is governed by clause 3.

5. Your choices

5.1 You may block, restrict or delete cookies through your browser or device settings at any time. Instructions are provided by each browser's maker. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the platform; blocking other cookies may cause features to work incorrectly or not at all.

5.2 Deleting the cookie that records your response to the cookie notice will cause the notice to appear again on your next visit; continuing to use the platform after it is shown is consent under clause 1.2.

5.3 The platform does not respond to "Do Not Track" or similar browser signals.

5.4 Where the law that applies to you gives you a right to refuse cookies that are not strictly necessary, you may exercise it by not using the platform, or by blocking those cookies in your browser as described above, in which case the platform is provided on an as-available basis and IDTraders accepts no responsibility for features that do not work.

6. Discrepancies, liability and changes

6.1 Questions or concerns about cookies or the data they collect may be sent to support@idtraders.com. The complaints procedure on the Complaints page applies.

6.2 To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you, IDTraders is not liable for any loss arising from the use of cookies as described in this Policy, from cookies set by third parties, from your blocking or deleting of cookies, or from any feature that does not work as a result. Clauses 19 to 22 of the Terms of Service (complaints and discrepancies, assumption of risk, limitation of liability, indemnity) apply to this Policy as if set out here.

6.3 IDTraders may change this Policy at any time by publishing the amended version on the website. The date at the top is the date of the current version. Continued use of the platform after a change is acceptance of it. This Policy is written in English; a translation is provided for convenience only and the English text prevails where they differ.
